How to get discounts and benefits of Individual patron tickets

Ticket Types

General Admission Ticket (입장권)

The General Admission Ticket includes a meal and a T-shirt, and provides access to MiniDebConf as well as a variety of talks and workshops held during the event.

Even if you have purchased a General Admission Ticket, event merchandise is not guaranteed if you registered free of charge using a guest invitation code or a code specifically marked as “Late Bird.”

Individual Patrons Ticket (개인 후원 티켓)

The Individual Patrons Ticket includes the same benefits as the General Admission Ticket, along with an additional gift provided with the event merchandise.

Individual Patrons may also choose to have their name and affiliation listed on the event website.

Discounted Tickets

Please note: Discounts cannot be combined.

Discounted registration for dues-paying members and students, as well as registration for speakers, sponsors, and other affiliated participants, is available through separate pages. If you are eligible, please contact us at contact@ubuntu-kr.org.

  • Early Bird

    • Please refer to the announcement on the community forum for an Early Bird discount code. Codes are available on a first-come, first-served basis.

  • Dues-Paying Members

    • This discount is available only to individuals who became dues-paying members on or before March 14, 2026.
    • After logging in to the Ubuntu Korea Community Forum, please contact us by clicking the “Message” button on this page.

  • Student Discount

    • This discount is available to students, including graduate students, enrolled at:

      • elementary, middle, or high schools in Korea established under the Elementary and Secondary Education Act; or
      • universities and other higher education institutions established under the Higher Education Act or the Lifelong Education Act.

    • Please send proof of current enrollment, such as a certificate of enrollment or student ID, to contact@ubuntu-kr.org. Other forms of documentation may also be accepted.

    • Notwithstanding the requirement above, individuals who qualify as youth under Article 3, Paragraph 1 of the Framework Act on Youth may also receive the student discount.

      • Please send proof of age, such as a family relations certificate or government-issued identification card, to contact@ubuntu-kr.org. Other forms of documentation may also be accepted.

  • Speakers, Sponsor Representatives, and Other Affiliated Participants

    • You may register free of charge using the code provided to you by email.

  • Free Registration Using Guest Invitation Codes for Speakers or Organizing Committee Members

    • Event merchandise is not guaranteed for registrations completed using this type of code.
